Social distancing is still a thing, and probably will be for quite a while. This will be a key concept to consider when strategizing and creating your newsocial media content, apartment photography and apartment videos to show case your property in 2022. Here is what we would suggest…
Show Fun Amenities
Bring to focus what can be done indoors. Appeal to clients by showing them all the fun amenities in their apartment units and in the common spaces as well. Some features to highlight might include a dope Media center for endless amount of Netflix and chill time, deluxe video gaming system & gaming areas, a Zen mediation space for relaxation, or other rooms that can accommodate fitness mirrors and gym equipment. Pool tables and other indoor sporting hobbies and activities like darts or foosball are great, but make sure you are able to enforce social proper social distancing practices and sanitization procedures to give tenant peace of mind.
We all enjoy time spent in the great outdoors now more than ever! Show your future tenant their access to porches, balconies, swings, park benches, walking trails, Zen gardens and relaxation areas in the fresh, open-air. Reinforce that they will still be able to spend time outside their apartment walls while still feeling socially safe & responsible.
Be Mindful of COVID-19 Guidelines
When creating content for your website or social media pages, make sure your models and actors are social distancing. This will show prospective clients that you are considerate and accommodating many activities, while not putting anyone else’s health in jeopardy. Poolside photography, picnics at the park or people walking their dogs, are great visual tool to help sell your space and avoid showing activities and images with large groups of people.
Highlight COVID-19 Updates
Update some of your apartment’s feature by making them more modern and cutting edge. Smart phone and keyless-entry systems are one way to appeal to prospective renters. If you have the budget, perhaps offer a socially distant entertainment area that includes a free streaming service or two. How about easy delivery drop-off areas for food orders and package deliveries? Remember to give your tenants peace of mind by establishing an area for contactless deliveries with clear signage. As we continue to spend a lot of time indoors, make the most of your space and showcase all the excitement that can be had onsite in your Multifamily apartments, senior living community, or student housing units.
Showcase The Local Neighborhood
Outdoor photography and video clips and snapshots of local hot spots are also a useful, but to still adhere to a what renters in 2022 desire. Also, emphasize some local activities, eateries or parks where future tenants could enjoy some of their time, safely. Avoid place that might be temporarily closed, or over populated. It would be a great strategy to point out a few of local restaurants that offer take -out or delivery.
Use Sympathetic Messages
Lastly, make sure the tone of your video is kind, understanding, accommodating and sympathetic to your client’s needs. Show that you have already adapted your apartment rentals to the 2022 climate of living, by demonstrating some of our examples above.
