The Rendering Checklist: What You Need Before You Start

When it comes to leasing a property that’s not quite built yet, renderings are your secret weapon. They help renters visualize their future, get excited about your brand, and, best of all, convert before the paint even dries. But to create a stunning, scroll-stopping rendering, we need a little help from you first.

Whether you’re working with us for the first time or just want to speed up the process (we get it, time is money), here’s this apartment rendering checklist is what you need before we get started:

Your Apartment Rendering Checklist

1. Floorplans (PDF or CAD)

This is our foundation—literally. We’ll use your floorplan files to create the structure and layout of your space. The more detailed, the better.

Bonus tip: If you’ve made any tweaks to the design since your last round of plans, send those too!

2. Interior Design Selections

Paint colors, flooring, backsplashes, cabinet styles—this is where your property’s personality starts to come to life. A mood board or spec sheet is perfect.

Don’t have final finishes yet? No worries! We can work with mood boards, Pinterest inspo, or even a few reference photos.

3. Furniture + Staging Preferences

Modern? Cozy? Mid-century with a pop of sage green? Tell us what kind of vibe you’re going for and send inspo pics if you have them. Our goal is to make your space feel lived-in, not just “modeled.”

4. Angle Requests

Have a hero shot in mind? Want to showcase the kitchen island and the walk-in closet? Let us know what angles are most important to you so we can plan the layout accordingly.

5. Branding Elements

If your community already has a name, color palette, or brand personality, now’s the time to share. We can subtly integrate your look and feel into the rendering to make it even more cohesive.

6. Deadline & Use Case

Are you gearing up for a pre-leasing campaign? Social media launch? Investor deck? Knowing your goals helps us design renderings that work as hard as you do.

TL;DR?

The more info you give us upfront, the faster and smoother your rendering project will be. We’ll take your vision and turn it into a visual story that does more than just look pretty. Ready to get started? Let’s chat about your next rendering project.
